Senior Automation QA (Java)

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation  to join our engineering team, with a target start date of November 1.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the quality assurance process and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, stability, and high quality of our products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify potential issues, improve testing processes, and deliver reliable solutions to our customers while working with innovative technologies.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in web application automation testing, with a strong focus on creating and maintaining automation scripts.

• Proficient in Java, with experience in developing automated tests for both backend and frontend.

• Experience with Playwright and/or Selenide.

• Familiarity with automation tools and BDD frameworks, such as Cucumber, JBehave, or similar.

• Experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS or other cloud platforms.

• Solid experience testing web applications and REST APIs, including API automation using tools or libraries such as REST Assured, Jersey, Retrofit, or similar.

• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

• Ability to work as a manual QA when required and adapt to different testing needs, such as exploratory and regression testing.

• Attention to detail with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software.

• Experience working with microservices architecture.

• Upper-intermediate English level or higher

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web application

• Design and execute automated test cases using Java 

• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues in the software

• Perform manual testing for depending on the project  needs

• Conduct backend and  frontend testing

• Create and maintain test plans and test documentation

• Analyze test results, track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues

• Ensure the product meets the quality standards and requirements

• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools for automation.

• Experience setting up test automation frameworks from scratch.

• Knowledge of load and performance testing tools, such as k6, JMeter, or LoadRunner.

• Familiarity with containerization.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Experience with TestRail or another test management tool.
